Day 1 Chiang Mai + Kwan Phayao Lake + Nantaram Temple + Pua.
Pick up from your hotel in Chiang Mai city and starts the trip to Phayao. Visit Kwan Phayao, the biggest fresh water lake in the North which shapes nearly half-circle-moon. It is also the largest fresh water lake in the region and the 4 th largest in Thailand with its area 1,980 hectares. Then visit Nantaram Temple, the local temple located in Chiang Come district. The ancient teakwood building with elaborate and beautiful decorated. See the Buddha images which over 1,00 years old. Lunch in the local restaurant and then head to Pua district in Nan. The small local area closer to the Lao border with the lovey scenery of the nature. Check in and overnight in Pau.

Day 2 Pau district + Silaphet waterfall + Tickelling tree + Chomphoo Phuca flowers + 1715 viewpoint + Salt well + Sapan Village.
Check out from the hotel in Nan and head to Sapan village. On the way, you are going to stop by Silaphet Waterfall. Located in Doi Phuca National Park with the beautiful waterfall in the different levels as well as the beautiful scenery. Then see the Tickleing tree, the unseen tree in Thailans as once you scratch on the tree truck. The tree itself will be move or over clapping your hands. One thing that the tree is different from the other is, it is usually turn its back to the sun which normally trees are not. See Chomphu Phuca ( Bretschneidera sinensis) which are rare to find and almost extinct and the only place you can see them is in this area. Lunch in the local restaurant and then stop by at the 1715 viewpoint. The locals named the viewpoint after the height of the viewpoint spot from the sea level. After the viewpoint, visit the salt well, where the locals produce pure salt for using as the homemade product as well as for sale. This place is one of the place where you can buy the best quality of salt to bring home. Then haed to Sapan, the small village and check in the hotel and overnight.

Day 3 Sa-pan + Nan + Phrae.
Check out from the hotel and continue the road to the next destination. On the way, stop by for the viewpoint “3” where you can see the wavy curve in the shape of number 3 for you to take the photos. Then visit Bali in Nan where you can relax for some coffee as well as taking photos. Then visit Phu Mintara Temple with the famous picture of the whisper of the lovers, Poo Maan and Yaa Maan and the Lanna architecture from the buildings and the Buddha canopy inside. Visit the back ivory museum see the valuable ancient stuff. Lunch in the local restaurant and then head to Phrae province, see the indigo cotton making which is very famous in Thailand. After that check in the hotel and relax.
Overnight in Nan : Huang Na Na

Day 4 Phrae + Chiang Mai.
Check out and pick up from the hotel in Phrae. Then visit Chor Heir temple, the most important temple in Phrae and also the temple of the Tiger zodiac where the Thais and Asian people who born in the Tiger year once have to come and worship. The continue to Lampang province, stop by at Thanabordee Ceramic museum. The place is as the first place to make ceramic with the high quality of white clay. See the history of ceramic making as well as the process. Then hand on, painting and design your own pattern on the ceramic piece to make to super unique to bring home. Lunch in the local restaurant and continue the road back to Chiang Mai. On the way, stop by Baan Ta jungle market where the locals sell whatever they could find from the jungle area for their living. Then head back to Chiang Mai and drop off at your hotel.

Weather Tips
November - February.
During the winter in Thailand, the temperature is between 5 - 12 degrees Celsius / 41 - 54 degrees Fahrenheit. You should come prepared with appropriate clothing. This is the best time for traveling in Thailand, due to the nice and cool weather. The landscape is covered with blooming flowers and lush vegetation which makes the bio diversity of birds and wildlife plentiful.
March - May.
This is summer time, the temperature is between 28 - 33 degree Celsius / 82 - 91 degrees Fahrenheit. The hottest time of the year is April, when temperatures can reach as high as 43 degree Celsius / 109 degrees Fahrenheit. Bring something light and thin to wear. Hat , sun glasses and sunscreen is recommended.
June - October.
This is the rainy season, the temperature is between 18 - 25 degree Celsius / 64 -77 degrees Fahrenheit. An umbrella or rain coat are recommended. Flip flops or thongs are the best shoes to wear during these months.
