Itinerary
Day 1 : Doi Suthep Temple + City Temples + Doi Kham + Khan Toke Dinner.
Pick up from the hotel to the Doi Suthep - Pui National Park to the mountain with curvy road to see Doi Suthep Temple, the most important temple in Chiang Mai. Located at 1,100 ms above the sea level. See the Northern Thai dented corner golden pagoda which contains the relic of the Lord Buddha. Surrounding with the mural painting hall which tells about the Lord Buddha story. Here you can also get a chance to get a holy blessing and wrist tying ceremony from the Buddhist monk. From the balcony enjoy the panorama view of Chiang Mai City. Birds fly up in the sky and cool breath against your face.
Visit Suan Dork Royal Temple where the northern royal family tombs are located and the standing Buddha Image, the only one in holding the blessing stick position in Chiang Mai. See Chedi Luang or The Grand Pagoda Temple where you can see the biggest pagoda in Chiang Mai See 2 precious Buddha images Phra Satangkamanee and Phra Buddha Sila which are important for locals at Chiang Man Temple. Then visit Doi Kham Temple where LP.Tan Jai ( The Buddha of wishes come true and success) is placed. See locals worship with the jasmine flowers after making a wish or showing gratitude to him when their wishes come true.
Evening pick up for the famous dinner and cultural show called "Khantoke Dinner" having dinner in the Northern Thai style with more variety of local tasty food in the lovely atmosphere.Enjoy with the graceful demonstration and performance of the Lanna Thai dancing which shows the traditional costume,you could also join them in the Thai dancing which is a great experience for you to enjoy before returning back to the hotel.

Day 2 : Doi Inthanont National Park the Highest Peak of Thailand.
Depart from the hotel visit Doi Inthanont National Park. The highest peak of Thailand with 2,565 meters above the sea leval. Short walk in “Doi AngKa Trail” in the evergreen forest of Thailand. Then continue to the Twin Pagodas for King Bhumiphol and Queen Sirikit of Thailand as the 60th years birthday anniversary which was built by Thai Lada Air Force and locals. with the beautiful inside the pagodas.
See a nice view and the small town below with mountain valley which is surrounding us. This is a good chance to take pictures if you wish. After the Twin Pagodas of the King and the Queen of Thailand, continue to the minority market of Hmong Hilltribe who immigrated from the southern part of China into Thailand over 100 years ago. They used to cultivate the opium until the King of Thailand spent his personal money to start the King Royal Project and change their lives to grow other winter crops and stop the cultivating of the opium. Lunch en route and continue to “Pa ka Yor” or “Red Karen'' immigrated from Myanmar. See the way of life and their beautiful weaving products before visiting the most beautiful waterfall called Wachiratharn Waterfall with a powerful stream and return back to Chiang Mai.

Day 3 : Sticky Waterfall + Wat Baan Den + Elephant Sanctuary Program + Long Neck Village.
Visit Chiang mai Bautong Sticky waterfall for you to enjoy walking and climbing the Chiang Mai Sticky Waterfall from below to the top. The waterfall is a natural limestone so you could walk and climb easily to the top and enjoy the clear water of the waterfall to cool down. Then visit Den Sali Sri Muang GanTemple the teak wood temple with the beautiful Thai architecture and the stunning sculpture which related to the elephant guardians heading for Elephant Sanctuary in Mae Tang area which takes about an hour. Upon arrival at the camp meet the chief elephant trainer who will brief us on basic elephant handling. After changing into provided clothing, be instructed on preparation of elephant food and supplements. Once the food is prepared, then meet the elephants and feed them. You will be given some information on approaching and befriending the gentle GIANTS. After that walk side by side with your elephants to the forest and take them for fresh grass in the field up the hill. When you reach the river, it is time for you to bath your elephants (be prepared to get wet!) After the elephant bath, thank your elephants before saying goodbye. Then stop by Long-neck Hill Tribe who immigrated from Khaya State in Myanmar. The ladies in this village wear spiraling brass rings around their necks, weighing up to 5 kilograms / 11 pounds, as a sign of beauty. After that heading to Chiang Dao overnight.

Day 4 : Chiang Dao Cave + ThaTon Temple + Doi Mae Salong + Mae Sai + Golden Triangle.
Morning visit Chiang Dao Cave where once the Burmese soldiers rested their troops before attacking Chiang Mai in the old days. Inside the cave, you could see the Buddha images in Burmese style as well as the beautiful stalagmites and stalactites in different shapes and forms for your imagination of what they look like. After exploring the cave,visit Thaton, the small town at the border of Chiang Mai, Thailand and Myanmar border. Stop by Thaton Temple located on the top of the hill which offers a magnificent view of Thaton town and the Kok River. Lunch in the local restaurant. Then continue the road to Doi Mae Salong where you could see big feilds of tea plantation as well as try some good quality of tea. Doi Mae Salong not famous only the good quality of Tea, this place also the place where the Kuomintang from China migrated and settle in Thailand as well. After that visit the Northernmost point of Thailand called "Mae Sai border" where the local Thai and Burmese cross over the border as a trading area. Then head to The Golden Triangle where the border of the 3 countries meet : Thailand - Laos - Myanmar where once was the famous opium trading area. Enjoy taking pictures from the balcony of Phu Khao Temple overlooking the Mae Khong River before checking into the hotel.

Day 5 : Doi Tung Royal Villa + Tham Luang Nang Norn Cave + Sky Walk View Of The Gigantic Khong River
Morning visit "Doi Tung Royal Villa" of the Princess Mother of King Ramam 9th who spent her time looking after and developing the hill tribes life. Enjoy the lovely garden and the Continuity statue in the middle of the colorful flower gardens with more varieties of flowers. Then heading to Thum Luang or known as the Khun Nam Nang Norn or the Sleeping lady mountain where the 13 boys were trapped in the cave for 17 days 4 hours and 29 minutes. Rescued by many people and safe. Nowaday it has become one of the attraction sites in Chiang Rai for people to visit and learn. Walk into the cave for some sites that are allowed by officers. Spend your time and your imagination when seeing the stalactites and stalagmites in different shapes and forms. Lunch in the local restaurant and heading to Chiang Saen for you to enjoy walking on the skywalk to look over the gigantic Mae Khong River with the picturesque. Then return back to the hotel and spend your free leisure time.

Day 6 : Black Museum or “Ban Dum ”+ Blue Temple + Singha Park + White Temple or “Rong Khun Temple ”.
Morning check out from the hotel then continue to Black Museum (Ban Dum) A black house with a large collection of art established by Mr.Tawan Datchanee, one of the great artists of Thailand. Walk around and observe wood carvings, silver, sculptures and paintings within 40 buildings on the property. This area is very unique to visit. After Black museum, visit the Blue temple, one of the famous sites in blue decorated in all of the temple area to represent the Lord Buddha teaching that spread out to many different places in the world as well as the blue sky which covers the world. Enjoy taking photos with an elaborate Thai art.Lunch in the local restaurant . After that go to Singha Park where you can see the Tea plantation with the fresh atmosphere. Also if you prefer to taste some tea and buy some good quality tea at home. Then visit White Temple (Wat Rong Khun) This unique white temple in Chiang Rai, Thailand signifies purity of the heart. Every corner of the temple area, there are art decorations with some philosophy of life for us to think and remind ourselves to practice and follow the good path that the Lord's Buddha had given. The mural painting in the main hall of Viharn is painted in contemporary style by Mr.Chalermchai Kositpipat who devotes his whole life to work on the temple. Putting what he has seen in his lifetime in the painting as well as the philosophy of art in his concept. After enjoying the White temple, head back to Chiang Mai.

Day 7 : Khun Kron Waterfall + Hot Spring + Chiang Mai Handicraft Center + Chiang Mai.
Check out from the hotel and visit to Khun Korn waterfall the beautiful waterfalll located 30 minutes from Chiang Rai city. Walk in the green forest and see the beautiful 70 meters waterfall in the lovely atmosphere. Then continue the drive to Mae Khachan Hot Spring for you to see the hot spring and relax your feet in the warm pool. Lunch in the local restaurant. Then visit Chiang Mai Handcraft Center where you could see the local artisans work on their crafts as the famous local products from Chiang Mai such as Saa paper and umbrella, Silk weaving, Wood carving and lacqueware and more. Then head to Chiang Mai.

Weather tips!
November - February.
During the winter in Thailand, the temperature is between 5 - 12 degrees Celsius / 41 - 54 degrees Fahrenheit. You should come prepared with appropriate clothing. This is the best time for traveling in Thailand, due to the nice and cool weather. The landscape is covered with blooming flowers and lush vegetation which makes the bio diversity of birds and wildlife plentiful.
March - May.
This is summer time, the temperature is between 28 - 33 degree Celsius / 82 - 91 degrees Fahrenheit. The hottest time of the year is April, when temperatures can reach as high as 43 degree Celsius / 109 degrees Fahrenheit. Bring something light and thin to wear. Hat, sun glasses and sunscreen is recommended.
June - October.
This is the rainy season, the temperature is between 18 - 25 degree Celsius / 64 -77 degrees Fahrenheit. An umbrella or rain coat are recommended. Flip flops or thongs are the best shoes to wear during these months.
