A trip in a day to Lampang with culture blended of Thai style which is graceful and delicate. Stands with the graceful and clam of the Daibusu Buddha in bronze in Japanese style. Also well known Ceramic pottery legend and the busy local market.
Itinerary
Pick up from your hotel at 8:30 am. And head to Lampang province the neighbor of Chiang Mai. Drive to Mae Ta area for the famous and graceful temple called Doi Phra Yarn with the beautiful architect of Thai Style mixes with the Japanese style in the perfect way. Before reaching the temple, you could also see the nice view of the landscape with the small villages on route as well as the nice view of the temple located up the hill from the main road. After the arrival, changing the minivan to the local transportation of the pick up truck to drive up the hill. Due to the road that leads us to the temple is very steep and narrow, using the local transportation is safer and also supporting the locals as well. When reach the temple ground you could see the huge Bronze Buddha image in Japanese style sit still on the peak of the hill with cool and calm. You could also walk up close to the base ground of the bronze Buddha for photos. Then return back to the main temple ground for you to walk around and see the temple area where people could pray and meditation with the graceful Thai style decorations with the nice view for the green fields and the farm below. On the way back you could design to walk along the stair cases along the shady tree to the parking space. Lunch in the local restaurant and visit to Thanabodi Klint and Ceramic pottery museum for you to see and learn about the history of ceramic and pottery making which is very famous in this area as it is the only place where we could find the white clay to make the pottery. Then heading back to Chiang Mai, on the way stop by the very unique and typical local market where the locals sell the locals veggies and things they could find in the forest near by their area. Then return back to Chiang Mai and drop back at your hotel in Chiang Mai.

November - February.
During the winter in Thailand, the temperature is between 5 - 12 degrees Celsius / 41 - 54 degrees Fahrenheit. You should come prepared with appropriate clothing. This is the best time for traveling in Thailand, due to the nice and cool weather. The hottest time of the year is April, when temperatures can reach as high as 43 degree Celsius / 109 degrees Fahrenheit. Bring something light and thin to wear. Hat , sun glasses and sunscreen is recommended.
June - October.
This is the rainy season, the temperature is between 18 - 25 degree Celsius / 64 -77 degrees Fahrenheit. An umbrella or rain coat are recommended. Flip flops or thongs are the best shoes to wear during these months.
