Itinerary
Pick up from your hotel at 5:00 pm by the popular transportation. Tuk Tuk and continue the ride to Chedi Luang Temple, the famous grand pagoda temple. Built in 1401 AD and broke down by the earthquake in 1545 AD. but stand still as seen. See the graceful pagoda even it was broken however you still could see it old structure on the cleared acrylic board that you could see how the pagoda look like in the old days. See the Elephant statues used to support the pagoda base. Showing respect to The biggest standing Buddha image in Chiang Mai as well as the Chiang Mai city pillar.
Then continue to Loke Molee the old temple located northside of the old wall. See the main building in Lanna style opened hall for air circulation with the wood carving of the Lord Buddha’s story. Enjoy taking photos of the Chinese zodiacs around the main hall and the old pagoda at the back, After that continue the ride on the Tuk Tuk to Pratu Chiang Mai Market ( Chiang Mai Gate Market) for you to try some local street food which are more variety and good taste, Then visit Warorot Market near by the Ping River and hunt for more local street food and enjoy taking the flower market round the back which runs 24 hours a day. After that hop on your Tuktuk and return back to the hotel.
